Millenium2 is a fully functional, free chat server for the unix environment. Using blocking sockets and multithreaded functions, Millenium2  integrates ease of use and power unlike many chat systems that are available for unix. User accounts to save user preferences for the next login Security classes that allow remote administration of the chat server Linking support for: Other Millenium2 systems using the M2 protocol TinyChat systems using the TC Protocol (soon) STS and DDIAL interfaces  (soon) A local system administrator interface that will be command-oriented through the console. It will allow you to obtain information from certain connections, kill connections, view system statistics, and more. Telnet protocol with ANSI support and M2 CCP (Chat Client Protocol) which allows client programs to be written with ease.
